Mexico Raises Tariffs Including Grinding Balls
13-09-2023
On August 15th, the President of Mexico signed an Executive Order on Amending the General Import and Export Tariff Law, raising the most favored nation tariffs on 392 imported products such as steel and aluminum, with a 25% increase in forged grinding balls.
Mexico is China's second largest trading partner in the Latin American region, and the tariff hike is unforeseeable. Chinese companies, with Mexico as their main export market, will be impacted.
